We have been enjoying a busy 2014, and have just celebrated our third birthday. Melbourne Food and Wine Festival’s Winter Roast Collection was a successful and fun event. We are also continuing to host regular “Producers Lunches” on Sundays with the next being held on the 27th July with Delatite wines.

Nicky show’s us how European classics can be made easily at South Melbourne Markets Masterclass. This class updates four Union Dining classics to reflect today‚Äôs busy life styles. Nicky will show you easy short cuts for Gruyere Gougeres, French cheese puffs; chicken liver parfait, a staple menu favourite; Bouillibaise, a rustic fish stew from Provincial France; and an irresistible chocolate orange mousse.

Two Years on the Wall is Union Dining’s biannual art prize awarding an emerging Victorian-based artist a $9000 prize and a chance to display their winning artwork on Union Dining Terrace for a period of two years. Sponsored by TarraWarra Estate, the prize aims to give recognition to a Victorian based artist.

Submissions will open in June 2014.
