Meet the winemaker Stephen Pannell
Meet winemaking legend Steve Pannell as he guides you through his new release wines from the McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills.
The S.C. Pannell label was established in 2004. Through Stephen’s extensive winemaking knowledge and experience at some of the worlds most prestigious wineries – including Chief winemaker at BRL Hardy and working 14 vintages in Burgundy, Bordeaux, Barolo and Priorat, this has led to the creation of one of the best wineries in Australia.
The wines on pour will include the S.C. Pannell 2014 Adelaide Hills Syrah, the follow up to last year’s Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show.
Other wines shown will include the Aromatico, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Grenache Shiraz Touriga and The Vale, all wines will be matched by a three course meal at Union Dining in Richmond.
