Last year our wine list was awarded one “goblet” in the Gourmet Traveller Wine Guide. To celebrate we are including your wine on our list.
Tuesday night is Cellar Night at Union Dining. Bring along a bottle of wine and our Sommelier, Greg Lightfoot can suggest matches from our menu.
Corkage is only $10 per bottle. Whether it’s a $200 Côte-Rôtie or a $20 treasure, there’s never been a better excuse to head out for dinner.

Please note, this is not available to parties larger than six and the Terrace area.

‘Ancient Grains, Modern Dishes’
Nicky has again been asked to host a cooking class at the Essential Ingredient cooking school in Prahran. At the class she will celebrate the ancient grains, cherished for their nourishment and versatility, and as indispensable today as in centuries past. Nicky will explain their history and cultivation, while sharing techniques for cooking barley, cracked wheat, freekeh, amaranth, quinoa and farro, making the grain the hero
of the meal.
Time: 7pm – 9:30pm
Cost: $125 per person

Union Dining is holding another of our successful producer lunches on Sunday the 30th of June. Our chef Nicky will be touring the region with our Sommelier Greg to put together an exciting six course menu to complement seven different Bress wines & Harcourt cider from central Victoria. Look out for photos and updates of this tasting journey in the coming weeks.

Two Years on the Wall is Union Dining’s newly launched biannual art prize awarding an emerging Victorian-based artist a $9000 prize and a chance to display their winning artwork on Union Dining Terrace for a period of two years. Sponsored by TarraWarra Estate, the prize aims to give recognition to a Victorian based artist.

Entries have closed for 2012. Submissions will open again in June of 2014.
