Private Dining
Union Dining has a private dining room upstairs making it the perfect place to entertain in Richmond. The wine room opens out onto our roof top terrace to offer more for your guests.
We can offer a sense of occasion without unnecessary formalities, making us ideal for celebrations, soirees and events, professional or personal.
We are flexible on what we can offer, and have an open mind when it comes to your idea of perfection. This is your event and we can help as little or as much as required, whether you need to wow the crowd or keep things informal.
Take over the entire top floor of Union Dining. The Wine Room, furnished with oak barrels and scattered with wine bottles creating a rustic ambiance, can accommodate up to 64 guests seated on round tables, or up to 90 in a stand-up, cocktail style. For smaller groups we can seat up to 24 guests on one large table.
Our menu at Union Dining focuses on fresh and local produce, with a few ingredients from the places that have inspired our dishes. We offer a provincial dining experience that evokes the brasseries and trattorias adored by chef Nicky Riemer, with a distinct Melbourne identity.
Our private dining groups love our shared menu; with a four course menus available from $75 per person. Alternatively, a smaller menu of three courses is available from $65 per person. Canapés can be added to the beginning of dinner for a relaxed start to your event.
Canapé menus can be prepared if you want to achieve that more social experience for your guests. Menus start at $45 for a three hour service, and can expand to a more substantial offering.
Peruse our current wine list to make your selection, as we will need you to pre-order wine to ensure we have stock available.
If there is a special wine that you’re hankering for but is not on our list, please ask, and we will aim to source it for you.
